ELYSIUM
When you listen to most speakers, you’re listening to a compromise. A compromise between design and sound, between aesthetics and engineering, between mass production and attention to detail. ELYSIUM is not the result of compromise. It is a statement of a vision - that sound can exist in complete freedom. Free from distortion, free from coloration, and free from any trace of the loudspeaker itself.
Speaker enclosure
The enclosure is a sonically inert structure made from 44 mm MDF for exceptional rigidity. Internal bracing reduces resonances, while bitumen and acoustic foam absorb vibrations and reflections. Rounded edges minimize diffraction and widen the sweet spot. The tweeter has its own sealed chamber for maximum clarity.

Passive Radiator
No ports, no unwanted noise. Instead, a large passive radiator is precisely tuned to deliver bass that reaches below 34 Hz in real room conditions. The bass is deep yet fast, with upright bass sounding like wood and string—not a dull buzz. It blends seamlessly with the midbass driver for a smooth, continuous tone without gaps or transitions.
Internal damping
Inside the enclosure, layers of bitumen, acoustic foam, and thick felt are combined to effectively control vibrations and unwanted resonances. Bitumen increases mass and damping to reduce structural vibrations, while acoustic foam absorbs internal reflections. Thick felt further disrupts sound waves, helping to prevent standing waves that can color the sound. Together, these materials create a stable, inert cabinet that minimizes coloration and allows the speaker to reproduce cleaner, more detailed, and accurate audio.

Tweeter
The TW29TXN-B from SB Acoustics features a TeXtreme® carbon fiber diaphragm used in F1 and aerospace, making it extremely light and strong. Its first resonance is above 40 kHz, ensuring clean, linear highs without harshness or metallic tones.
Housed in an anti-resonance chamber, the tweeter is isolated from midbass vibrations and maintains stable, precise performance even under high dynamic loads.
The result is transparent, detailed, and natural treble with perfect timing and imaging.
Midrange driver
The papyrus cone is more than just an aesthetic choice. Its high internal damping, excellent strength-to-weight ratio, and unique structure deliver an organic, lively midrange.
Vocals sound human—you feel the breath, emotion, and articulation. Acoustic instruments come alive; guitars have body, pianos have weight, and bows have flexibility.
Dynamics are smooth with no harsh attacks or gasping—just natural flow.

Crossover
The crossover was designed as an integral part of the acoustic architecture, not just an added filter. Every component was carefully chosen for minimal loss, accuracy, and durability.
Only top-tier components from Jantzen Audio are used:
All inductors are air-core foil coils—no saturation, zero coloration.
No electrolytic capacitors—every capacitor is polypropylene, often paralleled for faster discharge and lower ESR.
Superes resistors (1% tolerance)—precise, stable, and with minimal noise.
Point-to-point soldering with silver tin—no PCB, no parasitic capacitance.
Cabling
Even the best drivers and crossover lose their value if the signal passes through poor-quality connections. That’s why premium solutions were chosen for this part as well:
Connectors made from pure non-magnetic copper with no ferromagnetic components, minimizing interference.
Jantzen Audio wiring, silver-plated with Teflon insulation, offering faster signal transitions and lower dielectric memory effect compared to PVC.
No faston connectors are used anywhere in the system; every connection is hand-soldered with high-silver-content solder and then insulated for maximum durability and reliability.
