EMPIRE

The EMPIRE speakers are designed for discerning listeners who seek the perfect balance between price and performance. Our main goal was to achieve maximum acoustic quality without compromising on design and technology, ensuring an exceptional sound experience.

Speaker enclosure

The cabinet is a key element of the EMPIRE speakers, designed to provide ideal conditions for the drivers while minimizing unwanted resonances. It is made from 18 mm thick MDF, reinforced with strong internal braces to control resonance and improve stability. These measures ensure clean, accurate sound without unwanted vibrations.

Bassreflex

The EMPIRE speakers are equipped with a proven slot port design that reduces airflow turbulence and eliminates the typical resonances associated with plastic ports. Made from MDF, the slot port also acts as an additional brace for the cabinet, contributing to a more solid sound. The reduced airflow turbulence enhances acoustic performance by minimizing compression and port noise at lower frequencies.

Internal damping

Inside the EMPIRE speakers, we use three special materials for optimal damping of sound reflections and resonances.7 cm acoustic foam dampens unwanted internal reflections.Thick polyester slows airflow and effectively controls low frequencies.High-density sheep wool dampens lower mids and helps achieve perfect control in the midrange.Together, these materials create the ideal conditions for the mid-bass driver, ensuring clean and precise sound.

Tweeter

The tweeter comes from the renowned manufacturer SB Acoustics. It uses a ceramic dome, an optimized phase design, and a CCAW voice coil. A sealed resonance chamber lowers the resonance frequency and delivers clear, precise sound even at high volumes. The result is minimal distortion and high sound fidelity.

Midrange driver

Also from SB Acoustics, the mid-bass driver uses a special paper cone for rich and natural reproduction of bass and midrange frequencies. It features a composite, non-resonant basket and high-quality ventilation for maximum acoustic performance.

Crossover

The crossover is one of the most critical components of a speaker. In the EMPIRE model, only the highest-quality parts are used, including Jantzen Superior Z-cap capacitors, Jantzen Superes resistors with 1% tolerance, and large-gauge air-core inductors. All joints are point-to-point soldered for maximum efficiency and signal purity. Thanks to this quality, the EMPIRE speakers achieve very high sensitivity, ensuring excellent performance even with low power input.

Cabling

The EMPIRE infrastructure focuses not only on high-quality drivers and crossovers but also on the use of premium OFC cables from Jantzen. These cables feature a cross-section of 2 x 2.5 mm² and are twisted to reduce noise. They are soldered with high-quality, silver-rich solder, ensuring clean signal transmission without any interference.
